OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — The Oklahoma Republican Party State Committee today voted to formally endorse Kevin West for Oklahoma Labor Commissioner in the August 25 Republican Runoff Election.
West is an OKGOP Certified candidate, having successfully completed the Oklahoma Republican Party’s candidate certification process and demonstrated his commitment to the principles and standards of the Oklahoma Republican Party.
During Saturday’s meeting of the OKGOP State Committee, a motion was made to endorse West’s candidacy for Labor Commissioner. The State Committee voted to approve the endorsement, formally placing the support of the Oklahoma Republican Party State Committee behind his candidacy.
The OKGOP candidate certification process was established to identify Republican candidates who demonstrate their commitment to Republican principles and the standards expected of those seeking to represent the Party and Republican voters in public office.
West’s certification, followed by today’s endorsement by the State Committee, sends a clear message to Republican voters ahead of Tuesday’s runoff election.
